Morrison House-Salina Regional

Morrison House is awesome. Such caring people. The help with a place to stay during our crisis was incredible. They are right by the hospital too which is so convenient.

Perfect! Thank you so much for the space & hospitality! A Perfect spot! When a loved one is in the hospital. A wonderful contribution to life! All the staff and accommodation by far superior! Like family! What a beautiful blessing! THANK YOU ALL!

Friends were in from out of town for a shoulder surgery and were taken care of so incredibly well!

Great place! What a wonderful way to help families who have loved ones hospitalized. Would have made my families life alot more difficult while I was in hospital. A huge relief for my whole family.

My wife and I were visiting Salina from out of town, when she slipped on a wet floor and broke her leg. She spent several nights in the hospital, and the hospital referred me to the Morrison House, where I spent several nights. After my wife was discharged from the hospital but not ready to travel, she stayed in the room with me a couple of nights. The Morrison House facilities are very comfortable and tidy. The rooms are wheelchair-accessible. Lisa Hoffman and her staff are caring and adaptable. I was very grateful to be close to the hospital, and have a place to go at night. There is no charge except the tiny key deposit, which is returned. So they survive on donations. If you stay there and can afford to donate, please consider what it would have cost to stay in a hotel, and try to compensate via donation. The Morrison House is a very appreciated resource.

Amazing individuals that help to make this "home away from home" possible. It's indescribable the weight thats taken off your shoulders such as finances, transportation, and lodging....during a time when you can focus on your loved one whom is being cared for by Salina Regional Hospital or nearby facilities.

My sister spent 7 days at the Salina hospital, in the ICU and step down units. A couple of the nurses told me about the Morrison House and gave me a referral to get a room there. I can't say enough about the wonderful ladies that work there! I was set up with a room that our younger sister and I could stay in as long as we were there. They had two washers and two dryers, along with laundry soap and fabric softener, that we were able to use. We didn't use the kitchen, but they do supply simple things you could fix for breakfast, and you could purchase food from the store and make meals in the wonderful kitchen if you wanted to. It was just a short walk across the parking lot to the house and you could ask for security to esort you to and from there if you felt more comfortable. The bathroom had a big, walk- in shower and there were very comfortable beds to finally lay down and sleep in!! The Morrison House and the ladies who run it, made a very stressful time soooo much easier, by being there! We can't thank the hospital personnel and Morrison House enough for making a stressful time, much, much better! Thank You!
